Endangered Land Animals 3-Part Cards
Safari Ltd has released a new toob this year (2017) of Endangered Land Animals. Because I'm addicted to making 3-part cards, I decided to make some for this toob. These cards can be used for matching the figurines to the pictures, spelling the animal names, short story inspiration, or grammar work. The cards could be sorted by continent, alphabetized, or used for a memory game. The animals are great for sensory bins, free play, or small world play. You could discuss with children why many of these pictures were taken in zoos, and the role of zoos in restoring and preserving endangered species. You could also talk about why the animals are in danger of going extinct, and how mankind is trying to help them. There are 10 animals in the toob so you could use them for 10-frame math practice as well. As you can see, there are so many things you can do with both the toob animals and the 3-part cards. I hope you enjoy them!
